Summary:
- Immediate opening and terrific opportunity for a detail-oriented and versatile accounting professional to join a thriving team.
This position will assist in overseeing the company's accounting function, including (but not limited to):
accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end balancing.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient and a team player, and able to balance multiple responsibilities and help streamline processes.
Essential
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing and executing the accounts payable function, including reviewing receiving packets, posting to Stratix (our content management system), and processing payments.
- Prepare and deliver EOM reports for Management.
- Assist with monthly close-out procedures in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Assist with all accounts receivable activities, including (but not limited to):
bank deposits, posting cash receipts, monthly bank reconciliation, credit control, and collection activities.
- Perform month-end balancing procedures for both AP and AR.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation for all accounting-related activities.
- Consistently demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) or more years accounting experience - Stratix software proficiency a plus - Prior ACH experience desirable - Effective interpersonal communication skills - Strong computer skills in multiple platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook) a must - Enthusiastic about making significant contributions to small and growing company.
- Entrepreneurial approach very desirable - Ability to manage multiple tasks and help streamline processes.
- Mechanically minded, experience in manufacturing industry a plus.
