The responsibilities of this role include:
Consulting with clients, vendors, interdepartmental personnel, and job site supervisors for clarification on estimates or project requirements Meeting with clients and understanding the needs of the projects Ensuring client satisfaction with the overall estimating process Preparing estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors and estimating production costs for installation, repair, demolition, and maintenance projects Recommending cost effective changes to standardized labor rates based on bid requirements Acting as project manager on occasion:
working directly with the client, ensuring that the project is on schedule, managing employees, taking inventory of all needed supplies, ordering supplies, etc.
The perfect person for this position:
Is passionate about remodeling someone's home to achieve the look and feel the owners are seeking Has extensive residential remodeling experience working directly with clients Is enthusiastic and driven to provide timely turn around on all proposals Exhibits strong communication, influencing, problem solving skills Has intermediate level skills in MS Office and Project.
Knowledge of Timberline Estimating would be a plus Is results oriented with a strong sense of urgency to achieve the highest degree of customer satisfaction Knows that deadlines are crucial and making sure everything is on time and moving smoothly is a critical part of the job Resides within reasonable proximity to the Princeton area This position is NOT right for you if:
