Global Regulatory, Safety and Biometrics IT Lead

Information Technology (IT) Leadership position accountable for partnering with senior leaders within Global Regulatory, Safety and Biometrics (GRSB) specifically the following functional areas:
Chemistry Manufacturing and Control, Biometric Sciences, GRSB Business Operations, Global Quality and Regulatory Compliance.
Lead, plan and deliver new strategic capabilities that create tangible business value and evidence of business outcomes.
Member of the GRSB IT leadership team and direct manager of two leadership roles.
Matrix leader working with engineering and support functions to deliver programs.
Lead collaborative efforts with business areas to develop and gain approval for strategic programs that clearly define business value and total cost of ownership.
Lead and manage GRSB IT contributions to merger, acquisition and divestiture efforts.
Lead and manage strategic programs, from concept initiation through delivery, including the successful transition of new, validated capabilities into production operations.
Implement program/project governance processes and change management efforts that ensure high value is derived from IT transformations.
Lead contracting and procurement of external resources for project-type work.
Lead the evaluation of commercial products (e.
g.
, software packages) and services and actively steer the negotiation process for vendor products.
Lead and facilitate process engineering based on detailed and practical knowledge of the broad range of systems and processes that support Global Regulatory, Safety and Biometric Sciences.
Qualifications Must have at least 8 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical environment.
BS in Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field required.
Graduate Degree or higher level education preferred.
Strong practical working experience with Regulatory and Biometric Sciences, with demonstrated command of key concepts, systems and processes in the area of biometric sciences, chemistry manufacturing and controls, quality and compliance.
Demonstrated leadership moving programs from ideation to tactical realization.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, develop and gain approval for strategic programs that clearly define business value and total cost of ownership.
Demonstrated ability to conduct business analysis, requirements specifications and portfolio planning.
Experience in evaluating commercial products (e.
g.
, software packages) and services and influencing the negotiation process for vendor products.
Working knowledge of GxP regulations and delivery of IM projects in a GxP environment.
Proven abilities to plan, manage, and deliver strategic programs, from concept initiation through delivery.
Must possess excellent written and verbal skills and demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization including executive stakeholders.
Ability to achieve successful consensus among differing priorities and stakeholders in both the IT and Business communities.
